PEOPLES PARK is an effort to develop a plan for a new public space for Wilmington, Delaware, from the everyday insights and ideas of Wilmington residents. Central to this effort is the Peoples Park Design Studio, an evolving public work space within the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts where the design process for Peoples Park will take shape. The project is organized by artist Eric Leshinsky in conjunction with the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts Community Visual Arts Residency Program and the exhibition imPERFECT CITY.
